Sorry for leaving out for so long without notice :’D.
And I have come back with a big announcement:
I’m participating in a 100-day-PROJECT!!!
Wait… What is a 100-day-project? 100-day-project is, as its name indicates, you do a project in 100 days. It can be anything that you want to do: Drawing, writing, singing, learning, social interaction (?!). The thing here is you need to do it every single day for 100 days. You can either share it with your friends, post it on Instagram with the hashtag #The100dayproject, or just simply keep it for yourself.

And my project is…
Drawing COMIC!
So, picture this: I'm creating these little snapshots of my life, capturing moments of what I'm up to and the hilarious situations I find myself in as an introvert who is always deemed as extra-extrovert. Can you relate? Well, get ready for a comic that's bound to tickle your funny bone and maybe even hit close to home. It might be relatable and leave you chuckling, or it could be downright strange and leave you thinking, "Wow, this guy is a total weirdo!" But hey, those are your feelings, not mine 👁️👄👁️. Give it a peek and let me know what you think!
How did I come up with the idea.
Honestly, it’s just a random idea that I have in my mind. I’ve been writing my diary for a while (approximately 2 years), and it has always been written. I want to have more interesting things in my diary so that when I’m old and I look back, I can imagine more vividly what I was doing back then. Besides that, why not? By capturing the whole event in just 3 to 4 panels, it’s the best way to capture the highlight of the day without having to write too many words.
But what if I don’t know what I want to do…?
Maybe try this: You take a paper, devides them into these columns (for example):
Activities I love soooo loveee to do that I can forget the time while doing it.
Stuffs that bring me joy the most
My favourite thing in the world
What are things that I always want to do
Things you want to get better
… You can come up with your own columns
Then you fill in these columns, and start to mix-match them.
For example, hmm my favourite animal in the world is my dog, and I have always wanted to do more photoshoot. So why not taking a photo of my dog everyday and post it on Instagram. Wait, writing also brings me so much joy. Maybe write a story base on the photo of my dog? Waitttt a little more, I want to get out of the house more often to get more fresh air and to be more active. Perhaps my 100-day project will be….
Take a photo of my dog everyday while he’s in the park and find a caption that suits the photo!
That’s it. By mix-matching, you can come up with some of the most creative and funny projects that really speaks to your personality.
You can do it on either your note on your computer, or on a piece of paper, doesn’t matter.
Some common questions:
1. Do I have to stick to one project?
I recommend you to stick to one project till 100 days. But if this project doesn’t bring you any more joys, that you feel so stressful doing it, or just simply you don’t like it anymore. It’s totally okay to quit and try something new. After all, this 100-day project is to help you learn new things and find joy in doing a project of your own. If you are not enjoying it, what’s the point?
2. Do I have to post it?
It’s totally up to you whether you want to share it or not. You can keep it a secret, and then on the 100th day, boom, you release your project. That’s FANTASTIC!!! Or you can choose to share it with only your closed friends, your family, your partner, your dog… It’s totally up to you!
3. Do I have to do alone?
Omg if you can find someone to do this together, I’m beyond joyful! Yes you can do the project with anyone you love.
4. How to stay motivated?
It’s kind of related to a post I have written before. The keypoint is: Choose a specific time when you can do it. For drawing comic, I always draw it at 9PM in the evening. This is my most creative time so yeah, I choose it for that reason. After jotting down some thoughts in my diary, I will try to capture my whole day with a short comic.
5. What should I do when I miss a day?
Don’t miss the second day! That’s it, if you miss a day, that’s totally fine. After all, it’s a 100-day project, not 100 days-in-a-row project. Just make sure you don’t miss the second day.
6. What if I haven’t finished the work for today? Should I leave it and do the new work the next day?
That’s a great question! No, you don’t have to rush yourself to finishing the work today, especially if you don’t have time for it, or the work requires great effort and time. The point is, to work on the project every day. So if you haven’t finished it, leave it there, or post your progress for that day, and continue to work on it on the next day.
Okay, that’s it for today, if you have more questions, you can visit this page
