Da Nang - Nha Trang trip #3 - A Quick Recap
From Bana Hills to Hoi An: My Unforgettable Days in Da Nang
Hello there! Welcome to my blog!
If you’re new here, I’m Chynn, a Vietnamese currently studying in Germany. I am a writer who draws, and a drawer who writes. And here’s my blog “Life in lines”, in which I will write about my life — my friends, my families and my experience surviving in Germany!
This is my third part of my 11-day alone travel in Vietnam.
A quick summary of what were there in the last two parts: I was bored and decided to travel alone. First I was in Nha Trang, and after nearly a week of wandering around Nha Trang, try everything it can offer, I finally said goodbye to Nha Trang and headed to Da Nang.
I love Nha Trang for its beach, for Vinpearl and the famous Rice Chicken…
And in Da Nang
WOW!
The sun is SHINING!
There is no rain, AT ALL (ok, with this, Nha Trang 0 point, Da Nang 10000000)
With that, I fell in love with Da Nang.
After taking a quick glimpse of the sky, I quickly rolled my luggage, exited the airport booked a Grab (kind of like Uber), and went straight back to my hotel.
And mine is Le House boutique hotel

After that, I went around the market to find something to eat at Chợ Cồn (Con Market). There, I ate traditional Da Nang cuisines like: Bánh tráng cuốn thịt heo (Rice Paper Rolls With Pork), Sinh tố bơ (Avocado smoothie)…
Then, I booked the tour for the next day, wandered around the beach, took breathtaking photos of the beach, and relaxed with a glass of cocktail at a lounge lied next to the beach.
And my one of the most memorable experiences in my whole trip was about to begin.
Bana Hills
The next morning, as I had booked the trip to Ba Na Hill, it came and picked me up.
I travelled alone, yes, and on the van there are couples, families, and an odd one.
Me :’D.
It was then when I got to meet this sweet family (which I will talk about later)
We went around, taking photos for each other, and the day seemed to past so quickly.
Cau Vang, a must-see in Da Nang. Yes, it was marvellous, but was packed with people. You can see the wave of people behind me, and in order to take this picture, I had to queue up.
A big park full of colours in front of the Wine Cellar, Idk but it’s beautiful :’D.
A Photo with ‘Bana Hills’ words on it, as my mom said I should take a photo with the name of the destination on it :’D.
Taking a picture with a performer.
The most unforgettable memory of my trip is probably my whole day travel with a family (for privacy, I cannot upload the photo)
The meeting of me and them are just really accidentally. I was just asking them to take a picture for me, and they asksed me if I was travelling alone, I said yes, and voilà, we were together :D.
And I could have lost in touch with them, as during my trip to Bana Hills, we didn’t exchange contact with each other. But luckily, really luckily, as I was eating dinner (or dessert :’D) at Chè Liên, I met them again. We seemed to have just the same thoughts.
Son Tra Peninsula - Hoi An Ancient Town
The next day, also my last whole day in Da Nang, I booked a tour again from the same agency.
And this last trip, is just as wholesome, to end my 11-day trip full of lovely.
First, I went to Son Tra Peninsula.
At Linh Ung Pagoda
The weather was kind of hot today, with sunshine beamed rightly onto my face, and yes, suncream is necessary.
And here, is…
Hoi An~
This drink is a must-try in Hoi An :D At first I also thought that it was just a hype. But, really it’s so good aaa.
Every party has its end. Mine too. And now, it’s time to go home…
Going back~
Goodbye Da Nang
Hello Ho Chi Minh City
I don’t know, but after arriving to Da Nang, I don’t want to leave here any more :’D. The sun is shining, the sky is bright and clear, the weather is just perfect. There is a beach, good food and most of all, there is no traffic jam.
I also happened to meet a lot of new people, talk with them, and even travel together.
I haven’t seen all the attractions, haven’t eaten all dishes in Da Nang. It’s such a shame, but I think I have created enough good memories here to leave with a grateful heart and a ready mind to move abroad.
