Hi, Chynnerio here!
Riding on the bicycle, leaves ruffle under, leaves are burning red.
It’s autumn now!
I love the changing season, and have always like it, from the summer of scotching hot sun, then it gets colder, rainier, the day becomes shorter. And before one knows, it’s already Autumn. It’s changing season, for the nature, and for us, too.

Last week, I just re-started my Uni (I used to study Illustration before that), and I have made plenty of new friends, got adapted into newc uni-lifestyle. Last month, I also brought myself to Salzburg, a new place I have never been to before, pushing myself beyond the familiar, to explore new places and reignite my curiosity. In a way, this autumn marks a season of personal change, a rebirth of sorts, just as nature transforms around me. ‘Oldcomers’ become newcomers, once again.
Autumn also brings me inspiration to draw two new paintings that I have posted on Instagram:
I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, of how the deep burning reds of the leaves mirror the colour of pumpkins, a fruit that appears just as the weather turns colder. I love pumpkins so much, so much that my daily meals these days always have pumpkin with it: The meat to make pumpkin soup with coconut milk and roasted pumpkin. The seeds are to be roasted and eaten as healthy snacks. Pumpkin is so versatile, and I just love the fruit so much.
The book I’m reading right now: It’s Road To Wigan Pier, a book about the harsh living life-conditions of the working class in Northern England in the 1930s. It’s a compelling documentary from George Orwell, you may know him from Animal Farm, 1984…
How about you, how have your Autumn been so far? How do you see things change, both external and internal?
Hope you enjoy the Autumn! (Well, before it turns into full winter :’))
See you next week!
