As said in my last post, I have decided to explore part of the city that I have never been to, and it’s… Ohlsdorf… The biggest cemetery in Hamburg, and… THE BIGGEST RURAL-CEMETERY IN THE WORLD!

Damn, no kidding, and it’s just 10 minutes away from my house, and I have never been there before. I thought that a cemetery is really scary, and you feel the death everywhere around you, and it’s the center of a hell lots of scary movies that had haunted me for quite a time.

But when entering this cemetery, in Germany it’s called Friedhof, the whole place is more like a park, except, it’s extremely quiet, and not scary quiet, but… peaceful.

You can hear the shuffle of the leaves, the birds chirping, your own footsteps… Nobody to bother you, you walk in quiet, admiring the nature.

It’s really beautiful.

That’s the first thing I want to share with you, and here are 4 more for this week!

2. Yesterday I had an argument with my friend whether the roll she’s making is called Sushi or Gimbap. Turns out it’s neither :’). Shortly saying, Sushi means sour rice, as it’s a combination of Japanese rice and rice vinegar. Gimbap is made with sesame oil instead of vinegar. In the rice of my friend there is no thing so it’s neither lol. Thanks to this video, I have more knowledge about different types of Sushi:

3. Thanks to Pocket, one of the most beautifully-illustrated cooking post has landed in my mail. It’s about how to make and customise Raita, Indian’s most versatile condiment, which you can make it as a side dish or dip in. I like that instead of photographing, she decides to illustrate all the images, making the post even more appealing. Now I really want to make a Raita!

4. A Tweet from Austin Kleon went viral (over 3,2M views), in which he complains about how there are not enough movies for children under 10 years old. So many people disagree, and through that, that thread becomes a whole archive of wholesome movies for family. In the thread, Kleon also adds his favourite movie to watch in 2022-2023 too! Time to grab some popcorn and enjoy some movies!
